LLOYD CHARBONNEAU
Lloyd Charbonneau, 88, Topeka, Kan., died Feb. 15, 2012, at the Eventide Nursing Home.
He was born in Clyde, Kan., on May 31, 1923, the son of Adelore and Aldea (LaBarge) Charbonneau. Lloyd served in the Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945 as a Staff Sergeant with the 329th Airdrome squadron 1st Combat group. He served in the Central Burma China Offensive and was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Medal and the American Service Medal. He was a hairdresser and a member of the Catholic faith. Lloyd is survived by his brother, Gene Charbonneau of Littleton, Colo.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, at St. Concordia Catholic Cemetery in Concordia, Kan.
