CHS JV boys fall to Hays
The Concordia junior varsity boys’ basketball team suffered a 71-58 loss to Hays Saturday afternoon in the Concordia High School gymnasium.
Concordia got out to a 19-17 lead in the first quarter.
Hays scored 15 points in the second stanza, to 11 for the Panthers, to go up 32-30 at halftime.
Concordia was outscored 19-8 in the third quarter, and trailed 51-38.
Each team scored 20 points in the final period.
Kaleb Pounds led three Panthers in double figures with 23 points.
Zach Hibbs finished with 17 points, and Christian Wetter added 10.
