Marysville eliminates seventh grade
CLAY CENTER — Marysville knocked the Concordia seventh grade boys’ basketball team out of the North Central Kansas League Tournament with a 29-25 win on Monday.
Concordia trailed 8-6 after one quarter of play.
Outscored 128 in the second period, the Panthers were down 20-14 at halftime.
Marysville scored six points in the third quarter, and limited Concordia to five, to go up 26-19.
The Panthers tacked on six points in the final period to three for Marysville.
Matthew James led Concordia with 12 points. Ian Nordell scored 11.
